AmTrak offers daily train service from Washington, DC and New York City from the south and Montreal from the north to Brattleboro, Vermont aboard the Vermonter call 1-800-USA-RAIL
for times and fares. Taxi Service is available from Brattleboro. Daily arrival time: 4:50 p.m.; departure: 12:01p.m.
Kids 2 to 15 ride free on Amtrak's Vermonter when traveling to or from any Vermont destination . . . up to 2 kids with each adult fare passenger. Call for more details:

The most convenient commercial airports are:

International travelers may need to use Kennedy or Laguardia in New York City or Newark, NJ. (Drive times from these airports are 4 - 5 hours.)

Take I-95 to I-91 north in New Haven, CT. Follow I-91 north through CT and MA and into VT. Take Exit 2 and follow Route 9 west to Wilmington, VT. The Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center
is the seventh building on the right past the traffic light in the center of the village.
From: New York City (Westside) (About 3.5 hrs.)
Take New York State Thruway (I-87) North to I-787 just outside of Albany. Follow I-787 to Troy and take Route 7 into VT. In Vermont Route 7 becomes Route 9. Follow Route 9 East to Wilmington, VT.
