Official opening of the Molly Stark Byway

On Saturday July 26^th Brattleboro, Wilmington and Bennington will host commemorative ceremonies encouraging visitors to travel the byway.

Brattleboro 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

12:00 to 1:30 Procession travels to Hogback.

Wilmington 1:30 to 2:30 pm At Noon in Wilmington: On the Crafts Inn lawn in downtown Wilmington, living history enactors and towns’ people gather for an official proclamation honoring the byway commission’s enhancement to the historical education available along the scenic route 9 Molly Stark Byway and a ceremonial firing of the proctor cannon.

4:30 pm reenactors leave Hildene arrive and set up at the Bennington Battle Monument by 5:30 pm

5:30 to 6:30 Bennington festivities.

6:30 pm cocktail party at the Covered Bridge museum.
