Vermonsters of the Deerfield Valley

What are the Vermonsters of the Deerfield Valley?

Tweny-five uniquely Vermont themed outdoor sculptures, created by Vermont artists using new, found or recylced Vermont materials are waiting to be discovered!

Travel through the towns of Wilmington, Dover and Whitingham to view an old ski lift chair converted into a whimsical friendly "Chairnavore" or a creatively detailed rendition of "Chief Sadawga" decked out with porcupine quill necklace and horsehair bow.  Seven foot tall "Leafman" will give you a chill, while the handcarved wooden "Vanishing Vermonster" depicts the simplicity of Vermont's yesteryears.

Want a chance to take home "Plant Your Poles"; an intricately mosaiced skis and poles "flower" pot?  A limited number of raffle tickets have been made available and can be purchased at our online store.  The winner will be drawn at our late fall finale gala.

The Vermonsters will be on display throughout the summer and fall and will be the centerpiece attraction at the October 25th Vermonster Gala Dinner and Auction at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel's Grand Ballroom.  Tickets available online or at the chamber.
