Vermont Rural: Landscapes of Wild Beauty opens at Gallery Wright this weekend July 5th. Featured in the exhibit are new paintings by gallery artists Brian Kiernan, David Brewster and Tim Merrick. Kiernan’s oil paintings of the deep woods are filled with light and bold use of color. Brewster paints the lay of the land, sweeping and thrilling vistas of mountains and sky. Tim Merrick, a printmaker, creates wonderful etchings of fields, barns, birds and streams. Vermont Rural is on view at Gallery Wright 7 N Main St in Wilmington Village through July.
