CLIMATE CHANGE:  A CASE STUDY  Thursday May 15th. 7:00 p.m.

In an effort to illustrate how global warming is changing just one part of the world, The Historical Society of Wilmington will host a slide show and discussion on the effect of this phenomenon on Greenland.  The slide show, narrated by Robert Angell of Wilmington, will be held at Barber House, Lisle Hill Road at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15th., 2008.  It will be followed by a question period and discussion.   The Historical Society cordially invites everyone to attend this meeting.  Global climate change, and how to address it, is becoming and increasingly important issue for public debate and discussion.   Many of us may find issues of such magnitude difficult to grasp, it is The Historical Society’s wish to offer the community an opportunity to learn about such issues and to discuss them.   Questions please call Julie @ 464-3004.
