JamaicaState Park is on the banks of the WestRiver and is open every season with countless activities including hosting whitewater paddling events annually. The campground offers 47 campsites, 18 lean-tos, restrooms, showers, trailer sanitary station, swimming at the Salmon Hole, hiking on several trails with dramatic vistas, 2 miles of the multi-use West River Trail (walking, biking) and Hamilton Falls Natural Area, with 125 foot cascading waterfall. JamaicaState Park is located off of VT Route 30/100 in JamaicaVillage. From Wilmington, take 100 NORTH for 22 miles, turn LEFT onto VT RT. 100/30, stay on for 3 miles; turn RIGHT onto Depot Street, continue for ½ mile; turn LEFT on Salmon Hole Lane.
