Initially the collection of Luman Nelson, a noted early 20th century taxidermist, the museum boasts one of the largest collections of mounted birds in New England: more than 650 birds including 3 extinct species, in 100 dioramas. Don’t miss our live birds of prey, reptiles and amphibians. Open everyday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Memorial Day – late October.
