American Cancer Society Hops For Hope 5K at Mount Snow

Start your Brewers Festival weekend off by burning a few calories in support of a great cause! For the sixth year, Mount Snow and the American Cancer Society of Vermont have teamed up to bring you the American Cancer Society Hops for Hope Vermont 5k, a fun run with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

This event is a fundraiser started by local community members as a way to get in some exercise ahead of The Mount Snow Annual Brewers Festival (which draws thousands of people to the area) and to ensure the American Cancer Society continues to provide critical programs and resources in Vermont many depend on. Proceeds from this event support the American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

  • 7:00 AM | Registration opens
  • 8:30 AM | Registration & Donation Collection For Top Prize Ends
  • 9:00 AM | Enjoy a multi-terrain run/walk that is beginner friendly while challenging even the most seasoned of runners
  • 9:45 AM | Awards Ceremony

Prizes will be awarded to:

  • Top 3 men and top 3 women racers > will receive Medals!
  • Top 3 men and top 3 women Fundraisers > will receive Medals!
  • Top 3 Fundraising Teams > will receive a trophy!
  • The Top Fundraiser > will receive a trophy and 2019/20 Mount Snow Season Pass valued over $1,000

All participants will receive a t-shirt and a limited edition Hops for Hope Pint Beer Glass. After the race stay for awards and light refreshments, then at noon join the thousands of others coming to Mount Snow for the 25th Annual Brewers Festival to enjoy over 50 breweries and 100+ beers (Brewers Festival tickets are not included and can be purchased at

We believe that being active is an important part of staying healthy, regardless of your age. It may also lower your risk for certain types of cancer. By hosting a 5K we are hoping to ensure participants have access to care, education and are living their happiest and healthiest life, cancer free. There is no better way to enjoy all of what Vermont has to offer while raising money in the fight against cancer!
