DESCRIPTION:A new addition to the Vermont Blueberry Festival\, the 2nd Annual Laugh Til You’re Blue Comedy Show is a laughter filled evening for adults only.   Held at Carinthia Base Lodge\, it’s a great way to kick off the weekend and enjoy a great show.  A Thorn in My Side will have you laughing til you’re blue!  Tickets available now and include appetizers and access to the show!  Cocktail reception from 7 pm – 7:45 pm.  Comedy show begins promptly at 7:45 with a 15 minute intermission at 8:30. \nProceeds to benefit the Wilmington Veteran Memorial Park Fund \n\n \nThorn In My Side is an AWARD-WINNING original game show created by Ben Stockman\, Colin Hinckley\, James Gelter\, Jesse Tidd\, and Shannon Ward. Since 2021\, Thorn In My Side has been delighting Brattleboro audiences with monthly live episodes performed at the Hooker-Dunham Theater and Gallery. Every performance is filmed and aired on Brattleboro Community Television. Each episode features three contestants who have to compete in a series of bizarre challenges that fit the evening’s theme. Past themes include “The Great Outdoors!” “The Human Body!” and “Hats!” among many others. Hailed as “the funniest night of the month\,” by regular audience members\, the writers of Thorn In My Side fill every episode with groan-worthy puns and ridiculous scenarios. Contestants have found themselves slaying dragon piñatas\, playing life-size Operation\, and constructing their own newly-invented toys only to have them judged by real children. Contestants compete for incredible prizes and the chance to be named Thorn In My Side Champion of Champions! Join us for an evening of laughter and absurdity!
