Baked Apples at Shearer Hill

Guests love waking up to the aroma of freshly baked muffins, coffee, and our signature baked apples with Vermont maple syrup. We use local Early Macs or Granny Smith apples, depending on whether guests prefer a sweeter or tart flavor to complement the syrup.

Our perfected recipe and baking method create a delicious breakfast, best enjoyed on the back deck when the weather allows. Here, guests can relax to the sounds of cows mooing in the distance, waiting for Farmer Bill to bring them their morning hay.

We bake our apples in unique “apple bakers” with a ceramic post that ensures perfect baking. Due to popular demand, we now sell these bowls for $20 for a set of two. Call us to order your own!
