We are excited to expand our sales support team for building materials! We’re looking for a detail oriented person who believes in great customer service. Knowledge of construction and building materials is required along with solid computer skills to navigate our ordering and sales software.

The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate with and support the outside sales process. This includes creating orders in point of sale, completing order forms, ordering products directly from vendors and distributors, matching receiving paperwork, coordinating deliveries and offering direct customer support for various projects. The goal is to create efficiency in the outside sales process while providing excellent follow through and attention to detail in the sales execution steps. Product knowledge and process expertise will be required to meet these responsibilities. Providing great building product solutions is only successful if all the accompanying processes are handled with excellence. This dedicated role to support the outside sales process should provide excellence for our internal team, the jobsite contractors we work with and ultimately the homeowners we serve.

The secondary responsibility of this position is direct inside sales support for homeowners and contractors. This includes a wide range of products like lumber, decking, windows and doors, roofing and other construction items. Our retail staff rely heavily on inside sales staff to provide expertise on various products and detailed quotes for project planning. Placing accurate orders with distributors and following through on the paperwork is critical. Delivery logistics will be a daily task as you coordinate products, jobsite requirements and truck capacities with our yard and driver teams.

Scheduling and Benefits:

  • 40 hours per week (7am-3:30pm with ½ hour lunch break)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 43 per week
