Voices of Hope- Voices of Hope Coordinator

Voices of Hope (VOH) seeks an individual to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Voices of Hope organization. The VOH mission is to inspire hope and actively support people affected by substance misuse.  We advocate to increase local resources and raise awareness about substance use/misuse and the importance of compassion in the Deerfield Valley.

Part-time position (5-6 hours per week). This position will include volunteer recruitment; meeting scheduling and facilitation; working with volunteers on Narcan distribution; and public relations. More funds can be sought to expand hours.

Desired qualifications: Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as team; possess good communication skills, and organizational skills; and experience with grant oversight.

Position Summary
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Voices of Hope (VOH)
Specific Responsibilities
❖ Recruit, train and coordinate volunteer staff for VOH
❖ Schedule and facilitate monthly VOH meetings
❖ Maintain records in Google Drive related to the business of VOH
❖ Collaborate with business committee on all budget issues
❖ Work with committees and community partners to ensure implementation of VOH
programs/activities
❖ Other duties as assigned by the VOH Business Committee

Supervisory Relationship:
Coordinator will report to the VOH Business Committee
