We have a variety of outdoor activities on the farm including; paintball, horseback riding, wagon rides, fishing, and BBQs! Paintball is a great outdoor activity for ages 12 and up. Unplug for a while, and play in our Vermont pasture, with brush cover, ditches, trees, boulders, and stonewalls! Sessions last about 3 hours. Guided horseback trail rides are available for ages 7 and up, no experience required.

Paintball and guided trail rides happen 7 days a week, by reservation. Reservations can be made online, over the phone, or in person.  Our guided trail ride goes all through the farm property, including the maple sugar lot and some of the sheep pastures of long ago. Your friendly guide will instruct you on how to control your horse, and provide you with information about the horses and our farm. The ride lasts ~50 minutes, riders must be age 7 and older.  Paintball sessions last about 3 hours, ages 12 and older can participate. Teams can compete in capture the flag, or an all out war in our sheep pasture. Enjoy the cover of the trees, brush, ditches, boulders, and stonewalls! Rental equipment and instruction is available, or if you have your own equipment, that's ok too. Loads of fun for families, friends, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and birthday parties!

Visit our friendly farm animals on a working farm. Pet and feed them, and learn a bit about them. Various agricultural demonstrations happen throughout the season, dependent upon availability. This is primarily self guided, but feel free to ask any of our staff questions. Many staff members are working on one project or another, and are happy to provide information on what we do and the animals.

Special activities on the farm include fishing which is part of our Farm Experience package. The Farm Experience package includes admission to the farm, a scenic tractor pulled wagon ride (~45 minutes) and one (1) hour of catch and release fishing in our pond. Reservations are required for this package, contact us for additional details or visit our website.

Farm-to-Table BBQs happen monthly on our farm. Join us for an evening wagon ride, to explore the bear caves, and stop at our log cabin in the woods for a delicious farm-to-table BBQ dinner! Reservations are required for this event.
