Chapman’s Antiques

We started Chapman’s Antiques part-time in 2004 out of our barn located in a little hamlet in Wilmington we refer to as Medburyville.  After eight years of being open from May through October, we decided we would like to move our antique shop to downtown Wilmington where we could be open year round.  We opened our store in 2012, one year after the devastating flood, when the town was beginning to come alive again.

Our motto has always been “We have something for everyone” since we do not specialize in any particular antique but purchase items we find beautiful, quaint and unique.  We have lots of costume jewelry and small items such as teapots and pottery.  We also carry vintage signs and larger, more expensive furniture.  We always try to keep an inventory of the ever popular wooden skis, snowshoes and sleds!

We are open Thursday through Sunday during peak seasons from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Our hours are expanded for special events and holiday weeks.  Likewise, when things are slow, we may decide to close an additional day or two.  Please call us to check if we are open so you won’t be disappointed!

We are conveniently located at 7 West Main Street adjacent to the famous Dot’s Restaurant and across the street from the historic Crafts Inn.
