Fall Foliage Tracker - Deerfield Valley

Fall Foliage Tracker

Fall is one of the most magical times to visit Southern Vermont. Check back here for regular updates on the status of foliage in the area.

Update Thursday, September 28- Colors are beginning to really pop this week as we get closer and closer to peak foliage season. While there is still a lot of green, a drive through the Valley has considerably more yellows, oranges, and reds than a week ago.

It’s always difficult to predict when peak foliage will be but its starting to feel like we are right on the doorstep and should start getting into peak season sometime in the first two weeks of October. Check back here often for the most up to date information on current conditions.

Remember, for those coming from the south of us, we could be weeks ahead of the trees in your area so if you wait for leaves to start looking bright in your backyard it may be too late to get the best experience here.
