We are seeking a decisive Director of Operations to take over day-to-day management, allowing ownership to step back. This is a high-accountability role for a leader who can manage people, projects, and profitability with professional firmness.

Core Responsibilities:
-Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily functions including project management, site supervision, design, and admin.
-People & Accountability: Establish performance standards, manage role alignment, and handle difficult personnel conversations/disciplinary actions decisively.
-Project Oversight: Ensure clean handoffs from estimating to production; hold teams accountable for scope, schedule, and client communication.
-Financial Discipline: Manage job budgets, cost tracking, margin protection, and change orders.
-Systems & Compliance: Enforce SOPs, OSHA safety standards, and permitting requirements.
Requirements:
-10+ years of hands-on construction industry experience.
-Proven track record running operations and managing diverse teams (field and office).
-Deep understanding of construction sequencing, job costing, and operational cash flow.
-A professional, calm, and decisive leadership style.

What This Role Is:
-IS: Full authority over day-to-day performance and long-term growth.
-IS NOT: A hands-on labor role, a figurehead position, or a “check with the owner first” job.
