The Deerfield Valley is a year-round playground, offering every kind of outdoor recreation you can think of. Spring & summer really put the green in Green Mountains, and you can take advantage of the fishing, hiking, boating, jet-skiing, mountain biking, walking, golf, scenic chairlift rides, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, camping, cycling, and back-packing opportunities that the area offers. Lake Life

The Deerfield Valley boasts Vermont’s largest lake that is entirely in the state in Harriman Reservoir located just out of downtown Wilmington. You can rent or bring a boat and enjoy the wide open water. Or instead you can visit one of the picnic & swimming areas for lunch and a dip. Take a scenic ride on the Bluebird Express to the summit of Mount Snow! The Bluebird Express is open select days from May through October. Take in the beautiful surrounding views with highlights including Somerset Reservoir, Mount Monadnock, and sometimes even Mount Washington! At the top stop into The Bullwheel for craft cocktails, draft & can brews, tacos, and snacks with a view!
